About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active state teaching license
  • Appropriate state Department of Education High School (6-12) Science Teaching Certification
  • Ability to clear required background check
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction
  • Ability to work instructional hours between 9–5 EST or 8–4, based on school needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and use student data to drive instructional decisions
  • Receptive to regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers
  • Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to modern technologies and teaching platforms
