About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver specific high school science course content in an online environment
Provide instruction, support, and guidance while managing the learning process

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree
Active state teaching license
Appropriate state Department of Education High School (6-12) Science Teaching Certification
Ability to clear required background check
Ability to work independently
Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction
Ability to work instructional hours between 9–5 EST or 8–4, based on school needs
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and use student data to drive instructional decisions
Receptive to regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers
Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to modern technologies and teaching platforms
Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs, and curriculum
