About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Designs and implements well organized individual and group learning opportunities for teachers and school leaders
- Models effective and differentiated instruction for teachers
- Creates and delivers ongoing professional development for teachers and school leaders
- Assists teachers in aligning their instruction with strong teaching methods, standards, and student data
- Observes teachers and school leaders and provides meaningful feedback and coaching
- Increases teacher effectiveness by improving the quality of teaching and learning through ongoing support to teachers
- Equips staff with resources and skills needed to implement effective instructional practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Five (5) years of successful teacher experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability to pass required background check
- Experience in designing and delivering quality professional development for administrators and teachers
- Previous coaching or leadership experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum frameworks, and standards
- Experience in research-based instructional practices for learning
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Web conferencing tools proficiency
