About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Directs and coordinates educational, administrative and counseling activities of high school students
- Leads development and implementation of plans, policies, and strategies in support of business objectives
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to support initiatives that drive operational and financial performance and growth
- Researches and implements non-K12 curriculum resources that meet state standards
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding special education and other categorical programs
- Interfaces with students, families, and local Municipal Court systems regarding compliance as it relates to student attendance and engagement
- Develops and oversees implementation of the school’s Student Achievement Improvement Plan
- Supervises and evaluates teaching staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years related professional experience
- 3+ years supervisory experience
- Arizona Administrator Teaching Certification
- Ability to clear required background check
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.)
- Ability to travel 20% of the time for meetings, professional development, etc.
