About the role

  • Deliver academic intervention beyond the General Education classroom interventions to At-Risk students
  • Collaborate weekly with teachers to improve the implementation of the state curricular standards
  • Directly support teachers that provide classroom instruction
  • Coach teachers on differentiation of instruction
  • Observe instructional delivery of literacy teachers
  • Coordinate with Managers to develop a year-long professional development needs analysis and plan
  • Prepare virtual professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate with Manager and Team regarding instruction, resources, interventions, and data-driven decision making for student support
  • Train and examine curriculum and instructional plans
  • Develop supports for data collection and teacher data collection and analysis training

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Active SS or Science State Teaching License
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexible schedule; Ability to travel 30% of the time
  • Ability to clear required background check
  • Masters Degree in core subject, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or similar (Desired)
  • Experience with distance learning (Desired)
  • Advanced coursework in academic leadership/curriculum design (Desired)
  • Experience as an online teacher (Desired)
  • Experience in a customer service environment (Desired)
  • Experience with Local, State, and Federals laws and mandated reporting (Desired)
