About the role
- Providing financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for multiple Business Units
- Researching, collecting, reviewing and monitoring financial data
- Building timely and accurate financial models to increase company profit
- Documenting key financial processes, identifying and implementing process improvements
- Collaborating with business leads to summarize and analyze key data
- Leading special analyses and running projects to assist leadership with decision making
- Supporting Corporate Finance group with K12 and school financial policies, internal controls, and business processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or relevant field
- Two (2) years in relevant experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience and knowledge in several functions within Finance (Budgeting, Consolidation, Performance Reporting and financial analysis)
- Understanding of accounting processes, procedures and internal controls
- Strong research and analysis skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
- Ability to travel <10% of the time
- Ability to clear required background check
