About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Share responsibility for and contribute to the strategic, financial and structural development of the organisation
Represent the organisation internally and externally
As a member of the three‑person executive board, take responsibility for the leadership and management of the association in collaboration with the Country Manager Germany
Responsible for financial administration, annual financial statements and documenting the use of funds
Coordinate and oversee the annual audit conducted by an external auditor
Review monthly financial reporting
Monitor compliance with legal, tax and statutory requirements
Attend eight plenary board meetings per year and participate in regular meetings with the executive board (online meetings)
Support project controlling and reporting
Act as a sparring partner for the team in the development of new projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Alignment with the values and mission of Street Child, including strong team spirit, sense of responsibility and transparency
Availability of at least 10 hours per month
Experience in financial administration, preparation of annual financial statements and documentation of fund use
Ideally, experience in fundraising and organisational development, and in project controlling and management within international development, humanitarian aid or a comparable non‑profit or commercial context
