About the role
- Teach courses as assigned from a pre-designed curriculum
- Provide high-quality instruction utilizing professional expertise
- Utilize online learning platform to enhance student learning
- Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours
- Establish high standards and evaluations for students
- Attend faculty meetings and workshops or training as required
Requirements
- Teaching experience at the college level strongly preferred
- Online teaching experience preferred
- 2+ years professional experience in healthcare delivery setting (acute care, ambulatory, public/community, or home health)
- 5+ years preferred for professional experience
- Professional experience in Health Policy and/or Law required
- Doctorate Degree in Health Services Administration or related discipline OR Doctorate Degree in Business with relevant Master’s degree OR Doctorate Degree in Business with ≥18 graduate semester credit hours in HSA
- Professional certification in discipline specialty (if applicable)
- Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must effectively communicate with all levels of the University
