Business Intelligence Developer

• Build and maintain robust and scalable BI tools using Microsoft Reporting Services, Web-based dashboarding tools
• Develop infrastructure in both relational and multidimensional environments
• Develop tune and troubleshoot queries against large data stored in SQL Server with a focus on performance and scalability
• Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to understand requirements and formulate use cases
• Coordinate with Software Test Engineers on unit, integration, and regression testing using SHP’s proprietary report testing framework
• Explore ways to improve existing products to increase ease-of-use, actionable insights and overall customer value
• Participate in a scrum team to scope, size, and execute stories in a collaborative fashion
• The position is remote with optional travel to Santa Barbara, CA one to two times per year
