About the role
- Lead a development team to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Mentor team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute on technical roadmaps
- Support the development and implementation of engineering solutions within your team
- Contribute to technical architecture decisions and help execute on engineering roadmaps
- Document systems and processes while implementing best practice engineering methods
- Provide regular project updates to leadership and help implement engineering best practices
- Monitor team performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Champion agile processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 6-8 years of relevant experience
- 2-4 years leadership experience
- Experience working with or leading remote team members (preferred)
- Experience implementing engineering best practices within a team environment
- Experience contributing to team development and mentoring junior engineers
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field required or established experience
- Certificates, licenses and registrations: GCP Cloud Architect/AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Cloud Developer/AWS Associate Developer, GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer/AWS Cloud Ops Engineer
