About the role
- Lead the development of our React Native apps for iOS and Android.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver reliable, fast, and engaging mobile experiences.
- Help define best practices, mentor engineers, and contribute to technical decisions.
- Build new experiences that delight customers.
- Improve the codebase by finding opportunities for performance optimization.
- Guide the development team through collaboration, peer reviews, and mentoring.
- Partner with product, design, and QA teams to create solutions to complex problems.
- Optimize performance, accessibility, and reliability.
- Work with web teams to ensure a consistent experience across devices.
- Contribute to architecture and long-term technical strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years in React Native.
- Strong customer focus; experience working on an enterprise, customer-facing application.
- Strong understanding of mobile app performance, debugging, and optimization.
- Solid background integrating APIs, SDKs, and third-party services.
- Experience debugging native issues in iOS / android.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in common engineering tools and services, such as version control, package management, and CI/CD pipelines.
