About the role

  • The Workday Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the project and project delivery.
  • This will include assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities and enforcing accountability, developing and maintaining a budget and schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
  • Maintain standard project management documentation and metrics with limited direction.
  • Work directly with internal and external client counterpart, other project leads, and ongoing operations to deliver successful implementation and manage scope.
  • The Workday Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for promoting team engagement and building and maintaining a successful relationship with the client.
  • Manage Project Scope and Delivery Leads a larger LE project, Tenant Assessment, Mergers & Acquisitions or multiple ME projects.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 plus years previous program/project management experience required including scope and requirements definition, problem solving and process improvements in current Internet-based technology environment.
  • Experience of successfully leading a project implementation of Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP or similar applications.
  • Experience leading and participating in technical and cross-functional projects.
  • Experience of managing large project teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Previous functional/technical HCM, Payroll and Financials deployment experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software organization.
  • Experience of communicating effectively with high levels of management internally and on the client side.
  • Proficiency with MS Project.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Workday Project Management Certification strongly preferred.
