The Workday Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the project and project delivery.
This will include assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities and enforcing accountability, developing and maintaining a budget and schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
Maintain standard project management documentation and metrics with limited direction.
Work directly with internal and external client counterpart, other project leads, and ongoing operations to deliver successful implementation and manage scope.
The Workday Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for promoting team engagement and building and maintaining a successful relationship with the client.
Manage Project Scope and Delivery Leads a larger LE project, Tenant Assessment, Mergers & Acquisitions or multiple ME projects.
Requirements
3 to 5 plus years previous program/project management experience required including scope and requirements definition, problem solving and process improvements in current Internet-based technology environment.
Experience of successfully leading a project implementation of Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP or similar applications.
Experience leading and participating in technical and cross-functional projects.
Experience of managing large project teams and stakeholder groups.
Previous functional/technical HCM, Payroll and Financials deployment experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software organization.
Experience of communicating effectively with high levels of management internally and on the client side.
Proficiency with MS Project.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills.
