About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The HRFS Consultant - Workday Payroll serves as a trusted advisor to clients by providing expertise in Workday Payroll functionality, configuration, reporting, and best practices.
This role partners closely with clients to support implementations, system optimization, issue resolution, and ongoing service delivery.
The consultant is responsible for managing project deliverables throughout the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
This position works independently on complex client engagements while developing deep subject matter expertise in Workday Payroll and related HR and payroll processes.
Experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Workday reports is highly preferred.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ years of experience in payroll, payroll technology consulting, HR technology consulting, HCM consulting, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll.
Experience supporting client-facing projects, implementations, or managed services engagements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
