About the role

  • Manage and coordinate the accurate execution of the payroll schedule with the client and Strada internal stakeholders
  • Organize the deployment of statutory or client-requested technical changes: draft specifications, coordinate with technical teams, and perform testing
  • Report and communicate contractual quality indicators to the client, and implement necessary actions to remediate defects
  • Provide daily functional support to teams to ensure successful payroll delivery
  • Support team members' skill development through training and coaching to enable them to perform their roles
  • Statutory updates: following Strada internal communications, ensure dissemination to the client and teams, and implementation on the client solution for which you are responsible
  • Support the client during external audits and manage responses from agencies (e.g., net-entreprise)
  • Provide support for year-end payroll activities
  • Responsible for updating, maintaining, and ensuring compliance with our procedures and their documentation
  • Ensure and validate system maintenance testing
  • Responsible for resolving technical/functional issues raised by teams and ensuring that bugs and defects in the tool are reported in tickets with the necessary information for resolution
  • Work on continuous improvement of our procedures (automation, innovation, etc.) in collaboration with Operations, Transformation, and Product teams
  • Provide support for all implementation projects and go-live activities
  • Support managers in client communications by ensuring all information is accurate and shared on time
  • Support management teams in resolving client escalations and in learning from mistakes made

Requirements

  • Minimum of a 2-year post-secondary degree (Bac+2) in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • 4 to 8 years of relevant payroll management experience in consulting, outsourcing, or in-house
  • Deep knowledge of payroll processes and practices, and associated legislation
  • Good knowledge of external bodies interfacing with payroll (time management systems, taxes, social contributions, benefits, etc.)
  • Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with payroll systems such as SAP, Workday, or Oracle is preferred
  • Very good French skills (minimum B2) and a good level of English required
  • Experience managing small to medium-sized projects is a plus
  • Able to collaborate and work within a team as well as independently while adhering to Strada procedures
  • Flexible and able to support an international and dynamic environment
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work remotely
