About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with Storyblok’s dynamic legal team and play a vital role in our day-to-day operations in the AMER region.
- Lead SaaS sales contract negotiations—drafting, redlining, and closing enterprise agreements.
- Advise on U.S. corporate, privacy, employment and labor law, and support product and cybersecurity compliance initiatives.
- Manage legal projects independently, guide business teams, and collaborate with external counsel as needed.
- Support legal initiatives in EMEA and APAC, contributing to global policies and aligning legal processes across regions.
- Provide legal training and empower team members to manage day-to-day legal tasks.
- Support the legal leadership in executing strategic priorities and continuous improvement efforts.
- Extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Partners, Product, People, etc.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law Degree and Bar Admission to at least one jurisdiction in the U.S.
- 3+ years of experience with a primary focus on drafting, redlining, and negotiating sales contracts. SaaS or fast-paced tech experience providing in-house support to enterprise sales teams is strongly preferred.
- Prior negotiation experience with complex corporate agreements
- Strong understanding of commercial contracting with deep expertise in sales contracts and legal processes
- Broad and in-depth specialized knowledge of AMER legal framework plus some knowledge of EMEA and APAC topics would be preferred
