About the role
- Build the parcel systems analytics framework, creating analytics for all key metrics relating to parcel systems.
- Develop automated auditing tools that monitor various margin leakage and overcharge issues relating to invoicing and billing.
- Partner with tech teams to build a scalable strategy and roadmap for data requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Data Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis, specifically within Logistics, Transportation, or E-commerce.
- Deep understanding of Parcel concepts: Knowledge of carrier rate structures, zones, dimensional weight, and accessorial charges is highly preferred.
- Expert SQL skills (extracting from complex schemas) and proficiency in BI visualization tools (Omni, Looker, or Tableau).
- Experience with Google BigQuery is a strong plus.
- Experience cleaning and structuring data from TMS and WMS systems.
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query) for ad-hoc modeling.
- Experience with Python/R for advanced logistics modeling and simulation.
- Experience transitioning data reporting from legacy systems to modern BI stacks.
