About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the front-end architecture for complex web applications, making the technical decisions that set direction for the area
Establish and evolve the engineering standards, patterns, and best practices that other developers build against
Architect and build reusable components and front-end libraries for scalability and long-term reuse
Lead an AI-assisted development workflow, using tools like Claude to accelerate delivery while owning the quality of what ships
Direct and review AI-generated code, applying judgment to catch errors and ensure architectural integrity
Design and build new layouts, components, and user interfaces that improve how customers interact with the product
Mentor developers and grow the technical capability of the team through code review, pairing, and guidance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field
7+ years of professional experience in software development
5+ years of advanced React development experience building real, production-grade applications (not websites)
Expert-level command of the React ecosystem including advanced patterns, component architecture, and performance optimization
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML and CSS
Demonstrated ability to architect scalable front-end systems and establish development standards and best practices
Strong UI/UX sensibility, with experience designing and building user-facing features such as layouts, components, and data visualizations
Solid command of testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and production deployment practices
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT)
