About the role
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for steel mills across the Midwest territory.
- Conduct site visits to "hot end" environments to identify equipment wear, campaign life extensions, and safety improvement opportunities.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from identifying requirements to coordinating with internal fabrication and engineering teams.
- Stay embedded in the steel and power generation sectors to anticipate large-scale capital equipment replacement cycles.
Requirements
- Significant experience in Blast Furnace operations or "Hot End" steel mill environments is highly preferred.
- You must be mechanically inclined. While an engineering degree is not required, you must be able to "speak the language" of a machine shop and a heavy industrial plant.
- Proven success in industrial B2B sales.
- Must be based within the Great Lakes industrial corridor (Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, or Illinois).
