About the role

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for steel mills across the Midwest territory.
  • Conduct site visits to 'hot end' environments to identify equipment wear, campaign life extensions, and safety improvement opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, from identifying requirements to coordinating with internal fabrication and engineering teams.
  • Stay embedded in the steel and power generation sectors to anticipate large-scale capital equipment replacement cycles.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years Industrial/Steel Sales
  • Significant experience in Blast Furnace operations or 'Hot End' steel mill environments is highly preferred.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: You must be mechanically inclined. While an engineering degree is not required, you must be able to 'speak the language' of a machine shop and a heavy industrial plant.
  • Proven success in industrial B2B sales. We are looking for a professional who prioritizes building long-term trust over short-term 'closings.'
  • Must be based within the Great Lakes industrial corridor (Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, or Illinois).
