About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build long-term, high-quality solutions, working end-to-end from discovery to delivery
Propose technical solutions, challenge the status quo, and drive continuous improvements in business workflows
Translate complex business rules into code, including commission calculations, partner activation, time windows and feature flags
Build and evolve scalable, asynchronous solutions using the AWS ecosystem
Support the ongoing migration of legacy services to modern architectures
Consider ecosystem impact and integration with other squads
Balance technical quality with timelines and business feasibility

Requirements

What you’ll need

Software development with TypeScript/Node.js, with a focus on NestJS
Strong experience with cloud-distributed systems, including containers, message queues, and relational and non-relational databases
Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, design patterns and SOLID principles
Strong knowledge of unit and integration testing
Experience performing code reviews
Comfortable with Docker/containerization and git/gitflow
Ability to understand complex business rules and translate them into clean, testable and maintainable code
Product mindset and ability to balance technical quality, timelines and business viability
Ability to learn and adapt to different contexts
Experience with serverless architecture and AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB) — a plus
Experience in financial services, payments, or sales-oriented products — a plus
Experience as a technical reference, supporting and mentoring the team — a plus
Proactive communication and strong team orientation — a plus
Familiarity with A/B testing, Amplitude or similar analytics tools — a plus
Practical use of AI tools in day-to-day work — a plus
