About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide dedicated service to a specific client, ensuring agile and efficient support for requests related to corporate benefits contracts administered by the brokerage.
  • Handle client inquiries by phone, email and other official channels;
  • Clarify technical questions about coverages, contractual clauses, waiting periods and provider networks;
  • Record, track and complete received requests;
  • Guide HR responsables and employees on operational procedures;
  • Open and follow up on protocols with carriers;
  • Support reimbursement and authorization processes;
  • Intervene and negotiate with carriers in more complex cases;
  • Support reimbursement and authorization processes;
  • Monitor operational outstanding items;
  • Mediate interactions between client and carrier when necessary.
  • Track requests using the management system or spreadsheets when needed;
  • Monitor service level agreements (SLAs);
  • Ensure that records and request histories are up to date.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Commercial Management, Actuarial Science, Insurance or related fields
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years' experience in benefits operations, preferably at an insurance brokerage, benefits consultancy or health plan operator.
