About the role

  • Lead data projects from requirements mapping through layer modeling and data delivery;
  • Contribute to the design, documentation, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of our production data code, tools, and pipelines (ETL/ELT);
  • Translate business needs into solutions aligned with the data platform's tools and strategies;
  • Negotiate with stakeholders a data strategy that can generate the greatest impact;
  • Apply problem-solving skills: structure open-ended problems, identify relevant hypotheses, and test them with data;
  • Communicate insights and recommendations with clarity, objectivity, and impact;
  • Easily create materials and presentations for diverse audiences (e.g., technical, product, business, leadership);
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and work autonomously on strategic topics

Requirements

  • Be passionate about data;
  • Be able to write SQL queries to solve highly complex problems in an optimized way;
  • Have experience with advanced data modeling techniques for analytical purposes (e.g., Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Mart, etc.);
  • Practical experience with programming languages used for analytics (e.g., Python, R, Scala, etc.);
  • Experience with data pipeline quality and observability, using monitoring, automated tests, etc.;
  • Ability to abstract business concepts into quantitative metrics (e.g., KPIs, OKRs, etc.);
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.;
  • Strong communication skills to work with stakeholders from technical and business areas;
  • Translate business problems into testable hypotheses and develop end-to-end analyses (from raw data to stakeholder-ready presentations);
  • Support strategic decision-making with data by delivering analyses that are critical, clear, and provide actionable recommendations
