About the role

  • Develop and maintain new features;
  • Take responsibility for developing systems that are critical to the company;
  • Monitor performance and the deployment of system changes;
  • Document implemented changes;
  • Build and maintain production systems while considering non-functional requirements such as: Performance, Scalability, Security, Availability, Reliability, Resilience, and Interoperability with our application ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Able to perform code and documentation inspections/reviews;
  • Able to identify and question gaps in architecture and the development process, proposing viable technical solutions;
  • Implement automated unit, integration, and contract tests;
  • Develop software in Go (Golang) and/or JavaScript with a focus on performance, readability, and best practices;
  • Be familiar with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices and automated pipelines;
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as EKS, ECS, S3, RDS, and IAM;
  • Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and non-relational databases (MongoDB);
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and service communication patterns (REST, gRPC, messaging);
  • Experience with monitoring and observability systems, preferably Datadog;
  • Ability to collaborate with the team in code reviews, constructively highlighting best practices and possible improvements.
