About the role
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports that provide meaningful value and visibility to members of the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams
- Analyze multiple data sources to pinpoint trends and opportunities that drive sales performance, optimize distribution, and identify market trends
- Create impactful, data-driven selling stories to assist National Accounts & Regional Sales Managers in meetings with retailers and distributors
- Maintain master data within VIP (Vermont Information Processing) applications, including Item Catalog, KARMA, Call Points, and Distributor Hierarchy
- Create, track, and report on KPIs for various sub-teams within the Sales organization
- Routinely present findings to internal stakeholders to drive informed decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement in internal processes
- Support ad-hoc initiatives and projects, including new product development, annual business planning, and consumer insights analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a similar field preferred
- 2-3 of years of experience analyzing large sets of data
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong skills in Power BI, or a similar data visualization tool
- Moderate proficiency in SQL and/or DAX query language
- Proficiency in working with sales data, such as VIP and NielsenIQ
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of the Beer industry and three-tier distribution system preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel as needed
