About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the main point of contact for your clients—build trust, listen well, and make sure they feel valued.
  • Learn to manage your book of business with an eye on profitability, growth, and avoiding write-offs.
  • Present to the management team on all client activities and budgets on a quarterly basis.
  • Support the Sr. Director of Accounts and the management team on client strategy and planning.
  • Stay up to speed on your clients’ industries and market trends.
  • Help shape creative ideas that drive client success and agency growth.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with teammates and leadership knowing internal customer service is just as important as external.
  • Keep clients updated on project status, budgets, and recommendations.
  • Clearly communicate client needs to the team, so work gets done right, on time, and on budget.
  • Collaborate with project managers and coordinators to ensure smooth, on-time delivery.
  • Make sure all work meets Stoltz’ quality standards and client expectations.
  • Become the indispensable go-to person for your clients, delivering unreasonable hospitality and building relationships that last far beyond office hours.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You have a degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, or a related field—or a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Agency–specific experience is a plus and will be weighted heavily.
  • You’re truly passionate about marketing.
  • You’re a natural relationship-builder who sees clients as true partners and friends.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently – speaking up when it counts, with both clients and teammates.
  • You enjoy presenting, pitching ideas, and helping grow agency business.
  • You’re tech-savvy, quick to learn tools like Google Slides and Workamajig.
  • You’re curious, adaptable, and always looking for ways to improve.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and keep cool when things get chaotic.
  • You’re organized, detail-oriented, and a strong writer.
