About the role

  • Own and administer our HR and people platforms; be the system expert and first point of contact
  • Build custom reports and dashboards that turn workforce data into actionable insights
  • Evaluate and optimize our HR tech stack to boost efficiency and the employee experience
  • Collaborate with Talent, Operations, and L&D to deliver a seamless onboarding experience
  • Manage our employee offboarding process ensuring smooth transitions
  • Support critical annual programs including Open Enrollment, Performance Reviews, and Employee Engagement initiatives
  • Coach and support first line managers
  • Partner with Recruiting, Operations, Finance, and L&D for smooth, aligned people programs
  • Act as the HR lead on cross-team projects requiring people expertise
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and external partners
  • Partner closely with Finance and Accounting on payroll processing ensuring accuracy across US, Canada, and UK
  • Manage benefits administration including enrollments, life event changes, and inquiries across regions
  • Work with external vendors—leave administrators, brokers, EORs—to ensure flawless service delivery
  • Design and implement engagement strategies that truly connect our remote and hybrid teams
  • Measure effectiveness and continuously improve based on feedback and data
  • Stay on top of employment laws across multiple countries and ensure our policies are aligned
  • Proactively spot risks and advise on compliance solutions to keep us protected

Requirements

  • 5+ years in HR or People Operations
  • Hands-on payroll and benefits management in the US and a strong plus for supporting other countries
  • Deep knowledge of HRIS and HR tech platforms
  • Solid grasp of US employment law, and familiarity with Canadian and UK regulations a bonus
  • Skilled in building reports, analyzing people data, and making strategic recommendations
  • Experienced coach for people managers
  • Proven designer of employee engagement programs for distributed teams
  • Strong project management chops to lead big annual programs
  • Vendor management experience with benefits brokers, leave admins, and global EORs
  • High attention to detail, especially around sensitive employee data and payroll
  • Clear communicator who can translate complex HR topics to diverse audiences
  • Proactive problem solver comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
