About the role

Design, implement, and validate improvements to the way inventory surfaces to clients, improving matching of finite assortment to client demand
Use decision-modeling frameworks such as simulations, optimization models, and A/B testing to assess outcomes and guide decision-making
Build tools and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and empower non-technical stakeholders
Build key relationships with stakeholders across product, engineering, finance, and operations
Identify unaddressed problems and propose improved solutions
Work with small agile team and with the larger Algorithms team to deliver impact

Proficiency in Python
Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, statsmodels and other explainable predictive algorithms
Comfortable with SQL and experience working with large datasets to gather insights
Understanding of statistical principles and how to apply them to data and experimental results
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as matplotlib, seaborn, looker
Team player, able to balance time against multiple systems and work streams
Drive for resiliency and principled approach to complexity
