Assistant Buyer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support evaluation and ongoing development of new suppliers
- Develop relationships with suppliers
- Handle procurement requests from internal customers
- Negotiate with suppliers to agree prices, quantities, delivery schedules
- Place purchase orders as per company procedures
- Arrange transport of goods and tracking orders for timely delivery
- Support supplier audits for Supplier Approval and Re-accreditation process
- Work within a cross-functional team to support projects with Project Management, Engineering, and Production
Requirements
What you’ll need- No prior experience needed
- Organized and willing to learn
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
