About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute seasonal product commercialization, line plan management, and go-to-market communication for assigned mountain apparel categories
  • Translate market intelligence, sales data, and consumer insights into line plan recommendations supporting revenue growth, margin targets, and assortment efficiency
  • Manage seasonal line plans in Centric and maintain data integrity and information flow to forecasting, demand planning, and marketing
  • Build product briefs and go-to-market presentation materials
  • Communicate product positioning, features, and end use to cross-functional partners
  • Analyze industry data and consumer insights to identify opportunities by gender, category, and price
  • Create and maintain seasonal line plans aligned with financial, efficiency, and positioning objectives
  • Develop style efficiency recommendations
  • Build and maintain cross-departmental product-range communication assets
  • Summarize seasonal go-to-market initiatives and align supporting styles with Marketing and Development
  • Deliver product presentations at go-to-market milestones
  • Propose and validate MSRP architecture and target margin proposals
  • Partner with Marketing on positioning and storytelling
  • Coordinate with Development on seasonal timeline status and milestone deadlines
  • Communicate product updates and expectations to cross-functional partners
  • Partner with Design, Development, Merchandising, and Marketing on product architecture, execution, assortment alignment, and go-to-market positioning
  • Report to the Product Line Director
  • Travel domestically 30% of the year

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, apparel design, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of product creation experience in outdoor, apparel, or accessories
  • Demonstrated understanding of the end-to-end product creation process and market landscape
  • Experience building and presenting line plans, product briefs, and go-to-market materials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google products, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • PLM system experience required; Centric experience is a plus
  • Effective visual and verbal communication with experience influencing cross-functional decisions
