About the role
- As part of an interdisciplinary operating room team, you assist with surgeries across various specialties
- You are responsible for the thorough pre- and post-operative preparation of the operating theatre, including the required surgical instruments and instrumentation
- With empathy and strong communication skills, you care for your patients and ensure the smooth running of the operating room
- You will also be entrusted with supervising and teaching OTA trainees
- Participation in on-call duty roster
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialized nurse, Operating Room Technician (OTA), or registered nurse (health and nursing), ideally with additional qualification in perioperative/operating room services
- Willingness to pursue continuous professional development
- Strong professional and personal competence
- Enthusiasm for committed and constructive teamwork
