About the role
- Key member of the interdisciplinary operating room team, assisting in procedures across various specialties
- Carefully prepares and restores the operating room and required instruments
- Provides patient care with empathy and strong communication skills
- Ensures smooth workflow in the operating room
- Passes on knowledge and supervises OTA trainees during their education
Requirements
- Completed training as a Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Assistant (OTA) or as a Registered Nurse, ideally with further specialization in perioperative nursing
- Motivation to develop professionally and personally
- Professional competence and a confident, personable manner
- Team player who is happy to pitch in
