Key responsibilities & impact

Engages in data collection, maintenance, and analysis to support evaluation, assessment, and strategic planning
Responsible for utilizing strategies and technology to analyze current and historical data
Designs, develops and maintains interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models
Devises efficient and scalable methods for identifying data patterns and trends
Performs specialized assignments; solves complex problems and develops non-traditional solutions
Identifies opportunities to automate manual reporting processes including leveraging approved AI technologies
Interprets internal/external business environment to understand the relationship between processes and systems
Recommends best practices to improve processes or services based on data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities
Design and support ETL processes, data pipelines, and data transformation workflows
Impacts achievements of customer, operational, project or service objectives
Uses excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate difficult concepts
May lead functional projects with moderate risks and resource requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
Strong technical expertise in Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service, SQL, and data modeling
Advanced DAX, Power Inquiry, M Language, and analytics solution development
Database skills, including writing complex queries, data manipulation, and query optimization
Experience developing and supporting end-to-end analytics solutions from source systems to executive dashboards
Experience with relational databases and dimensional data modeling, ETL processes, data integration, and data pipeline concepts
Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience
