About the role
- We have grown rapidly, have fantastic products, a real brand, and last year surpassed €10M in revenue.
- You will clean up our historically grown system landscape, build a scalable data foundation, and take responsibility for our data and AI area.
- You will (re)build our data warehouse, develop the key interfaces, and bring order to a highly complex business (multiple shops, a large retail network, procurement, shop management, performance marketing, product development).
- You will identify manual bottlenecks, reduce the complexity of our system landscape, and automate processes across departments.
- You will conduct complex analyses based on our shop and marketing data, build dashboards, and ensure all areas of the company always have the data they need.
- You will integrate state-of-the-art, AI-driven systems (e.g., LLMs such as Gemini or Claude) into our business processes to give us a decisive efficiency advantage.
- You will work directly with management and act as a central hub to ensure the company makes well-founded, data-driven decisions.
- You are a data nerd who doesn’t just code in isolation. You will take the team along on the journey, inspire enthusiasm for data, and proactively build the topic within our company.
Requirements
- You have 2–3 years of professional experience in the data field and are ready for the next step, where you will build topics yourself.
- You hold a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
- You bring excellent, practical knowledge of SQL and Python.
- You already have hands-on experience working with and integrating modern AI systems and LLMs (e.g., Gemini, Claude, OpenAI APIs).
- You have solid statistics knowledge, above-average analytical skills, and genuinely enjoy spotting patterns in data.
- You think beyond code. You have a quick grasp of problems, work extremely solution-oriented, and understand the business logic behind the data.
- You are flexible, work with full ownership, and enjoy tackling things proactively rather than waiting for ready-made concepts.
- You are friendly, communicative, and can explain complex technical topics to non-technical colleagues.
Benefits
- As a welcome gift, you’ll receive a €300 watch budget so you can experience our product from day one!
- Modern office with top equipment — you’ll receive everything you need: laptop, monitor, headset.
- Flexible working hours, hybrid work models, and a pleasant working atmosphere.
- Monthly additional benefits: €50 tax-free allowance + public transport job ticket for employees in Hamburg + e-bike card + fuel card.
- Personal development through a variety of training and career development opportunities.
- Strong team spirit with regular events, attractive employee discounts, and genuine camaraderie.
