About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients in upholding brand standards
  • Ensure exceptional food quality and customer-focused service
  • Conduct assessments measuring conformity to regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards
  • Observe food preparation and cooking standards for food safety, health, and sanitation
  • Partner with clients to identify root causes of assessment discrepancies
  • Develop corrective action plans
  • Teach and coach clients to create safer and healthier workplaces
  • Conduct audits and inspections
  • Implement and monitor food safety practices
  • Train and educate staff
  • Investigate food safety incidents
  • Ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Meet the requirements to obtain a CP-FS certification
  • Available to work Monday-Friday, Saturdays, and evenings as needed
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence
  • Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
  • Strong technical knowledge of food safety is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety is preferred
  • ServSafe and/or CP-FS certifications are a plus
  • Excellent listening, organization, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to influence others with tact and skill
  • Ability to provide clear and constructive feedback positively
  • Ability to thrive in an autonomous working environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work based on urgency, efficiency, and other factors
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50%-70%, or 8-10 days per month, including some evening and weekend work
