About the role
- mitigate Stericycle's exposure to risk by leading, planning, coordinating, and implementing safety management systems
- anticipate, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices
- perform regular facility inspections and audits
- develop hazard control methods, procedures and programs
- implement, administer and advise others on hazard controls and hazard control programs
- measure, audit and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard controls and hazard control programs
Requirements
- education: Bachelors or Equivalent Experience
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
- Certified Director of Safety (CDS)
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
