About the role
- Oversee day to day operations in the Baltimore autoclave facility
- Ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost savings initiatives are in place
- Plans and schedules production requirements (people & equipment) to support daily, weekly and monthly sales forecast
- Oversees and trains an effective and efficient staff
- Monitors operations and staff and recommends changes as necessary
- Administers all Company policies and procedures, communicates to staff
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and safety measures
- Maintains overall cost control of the plant
- Ensures continuous improvement of productivity standards and worker safety performance
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in business or operations management preferred or Seven years or more years related experience or training in a plant or manufacturing environment
- Five or more years of experience managing others
- Demonstrates knowledge of barcode scanning and computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Demonstrates knowledge of Hazardous Materials and OSHA Regulations
- Demonstrates the ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift
