About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Teach and facilitate learning through didactic instruction, in-person skills lab facilitation, and in-person clinical education
- Oversee, review, refine, and continuously improve PN and RN curriculum
- Support program enrollment, including recruitment, admissions, orientation, and registration
- Oversee student progress and performance, including grading, academic advising, and program completion
- Support hiring, train, and supervise adjunct instructors
- Serve as a key contact for enterprise healthcare partners in Ohio and manage ongoing relationships
- Develop and oversee program budgets and operational resources
- Serve as primary contact with the Ohio Board of Nursing and manage regulatory compliance
- Conduct program evaluation and assessment and use data to recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements
- Fulfill some evening and weekend obligations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio, or eligibility to obtain it if licensed in another state
- Master's degree in nursing
- 5+ years of RN nursing practice experience
- 2+ years of experience as a faculty member with a registered nursing education program
- Ability to teach across didactic, skills lab, and clinical settings
- Experience with Laerdal manikins or similar simulation technology
- Familiarity with nursing-program accreditation and regulatory compliance, including Ohio Board of Nursing requirements
- Experience engaging with external partners, clinical sites, or employer stakeholders
- Ability to work cross-functionally with faculty, staff, students, and institutional partners
- Some evening and weekend availability required
