About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the building and delivery of large parts of our core product according to business needs
Write clear and concise production code for the Stellar Health Platform
Work on mission-critical data pipelines, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and flexible to handle various customer and internal data
Deliver new features by collaborating regularly with our product managers.
Lead initiatives on the team backlog, setting technical direction and staging work into well-defined milestones
Set consistent standards for code; testing and fixing bugs throughout the process.
Ensure our users are presented with timely and accurate information that helps them do their job.
Evolve the architecture to improve operational efficiency and support business growth
Actively contribute to Stellar’s Engineering Culture and ensure engineers are writing clear and concise production code for the Stellar Health Platform
Provide effective and constructive feedback by reviewing others’ work
Set consistent standards via code and design reviews, as well as your own technical contributions

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least six years of total experience, with recent hands-on experience writing production-level code (Python is preferred / Java / C++ / Go)
Experience in a cloud platform such as AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure
Expertise in relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
Experience driving medium to large projects from inception to completion
Great written and verbal communication skills. We work with people across time zones and diverse backgrounds, so you need to be able to communicate both effectively and inclusively.
Experience working on data pipelines and an understanding of the relevant nonfunctional requirements
