About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive net-new logo acquisition through proactive outbound prospecting and territory development
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Develop and execute strategic account plans within assigned territory/accounts
- Build relationships with CISOs, Security Leaders, IT teams, and executive stakeholders
- Position MSSP and cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer security challenges and business outcomes
- Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, and solution discussions both virtually and in-person as needed
- Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Channel, and Customer Success teams
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM hygiene
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and activity targets
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of B2B technology sales experience
- 3+ years of cybersecurity or MSSP sales experience
- Proven success in hunter/new business acquisition roles
- Experience selling managed security services, SOC services, SIEM, XDR, MDR, cloud security, or related cybersecurity solutions
- Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting
- Experience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Strong executive presence and presentation skills
- Consistent track record of quota attainment
- **Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience selling into enterprise or mid-market organizations
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and threat landscapes
- Experience working with channel partners, service providers and MSSP ecosystems
- Knowledge of modern security operations and detection/response solutions
