About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will conduct price and contract negotiations in close coordination with your team lead
This also includes targeted solicitation of offers and detailed comparison of proposals
You will support contract drafting from a commercial perspective together with the team lead and continuously liaise with suppliers until final contract conclusion
You will identify and realize cost-saving opportunities by critically analyzing existing terms and delivery agreements and, if necessary, initiating supplier changes
You will independently manage a defined set of suppliers and, in close coordination with your team lead, develop tailored supplier strategies
You are responsible for preparing reports and detailed KPI analyses
In addition, you will ensure careful maintenance of supplier contacts and data in our systems
You are the primary point of contact in the business relationship, independently prepare and follow up supplier meetings, and keep all internal stakeholders informed after strategic meetings
You actively connect suppliers with internal interfaces, support the continuous improvement of procurement processes, and work closely and cooperatively with other departments
You use data purposefully to solve problems, proactively contribute new ideas, and collaborate on cross-departmental process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have at least 3 years of experience in procurement and partner management
You bring market and business understanding
Product knowledge or initial exposure to areas such as shut-off technology, construction site supplies, or street furniture is a plus
You have negotiation skills and assertiveness
You are structured and work independently
You are strong in data analysis and confident in using reporting tools
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken, and a confident demeanor complete your profile
