About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software product functionality and quality
Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, collaborating closely with developers to resolve them
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design corresponding test cases
Perform functional testing to verify software meets specified requirements and operates as expected
Perform regression testing to ensure software changes and enhancements do not negatively affect existing functionality
Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools
Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance
Provide timely and accurate reports on testing progress, test coverage, and defect metrics to project stakeholders
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to prioritize and manage testing efforts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a QA Functional Tester or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience with functional testing, regression testing, and test automation
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools, such as JIRA and Confluence
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
ISTQB certification is an advantage
