About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The intern will join our Advisory Team and must be very fluent both in Italian and in English.
The successful candidate will join a team who works on projects, in Italy and abroad, for public and private clients, such as local public transport operators, concessionaires, investment funds, financial entities and public bodies.
Our projects include:
Traffic due diligence and transportation planning;
Cost-benefit analysis and wider economic impacts;
Developing econometric models to support demand forecasts across different modes of transport;
Collaboration with colleagues across the business to provide high-quality consulting and differentiated services to our clients.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in economics or related field, ideally with a transportation focus
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with a good knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel);
Good written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details to a non-technical audience and to write reports and presentations in a logical and well-structured way;
Ability to work in different teams, as well as independently.
Must be legally authorized to work in the European Union without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Familiarity with large dataset analysis and modelling using software such as R, Stata ans/or Phyton.
Understanding and application of logit models.
