About the role

  • The intern will join our Advisory Team and must be very fluent both in Italian and in English.
  • The successful candidate will join a team who works on projects, in Italy and abroad, for public and private clients, such as local public transport operators, concessionaires, investment funds, financial entities and public bodies.
  • Our projects include:
  • Traffic due diligence and transportation planning;
  • Cost-benefit analysis and wider economic impacts;
  • Developing econometric models to support demand forecasts across different modes of transport;
  • Collaboration with colleagues across the business to provide high-quality consulting and differentiated services to our clients.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in economics or related field, ideally with a transportation focus
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with a good knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel);
  • Good written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details to a non-technical audience and to write reports and presentations in a logical and well-structured way;
  • Ability to work in different teams, as well as independently.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the European Union without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Familiarity with large dataset analysis and modelling using software such as R, Stata ans/or Phyton.
  • Understanding and application of logit models.
