Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, executive team, Board, and investors
Lead long-range planning, financial modeling, and scenario analysis to guide growth
Drive annual budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with company priorities
Define and oversee the financial reporting frameworks and dashboards needed for scale
Partner with Operations and Clinical leaders on metrics, OKRs, and performance reviews
Deliver clear, actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and profitability
Assess the financial viability and ROI of new services, programs, and site expansions
Bring proven experience navigating high-volume, multi-site healthcare or services operations
Optimize site-level performance, cost structures, and scalability; develop site-level analytics and unit economics
Oversee revenue cycle management, billing, and collections; ensure accurate, timely financial statements, reconciliations, and compliance
Partner with external accounting/tax resources and manage treasury functions
Build, mentor, and scale a finance team and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and accountability
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA or master's degree preferred)
7-10+ years in finance leadership roles, ideally in healthcare, behavioral health, or other multi-site brick-and-mortar environments
Deep FP&A experience with proven ability to design and manage reporting frameworks, dashboards, and key financial metrics
Strong grasp of healthcare reimbursement and revenue cycle dynamics
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills. Comfortable interpreting data, spotting trends, and framing insights
Demonstrated ability to influence, present, and partner effectively with senior leadership and Boards
Track record of leading high-performing teams and scaling finance functions
Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, or other value-based healthcare models (preferred)
Prior exposure to private equity or venture-backed growth environments (preferred)
Comfort operating in an early-stage, fast-scaling context where systems and processes are still being built (preferred)
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and operating standard office equipment
Visual acuity required for reading spreadsheets, analyzing data, and reviewing financial and operational reports
Clear verbal and written communication skills required to present financial insights
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, with occasional movement required for meetings within and outside the office environment
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds (e.g., files, binders, or laptops)
Ability to travel occasionally to leadership meetings and clinics as needed
