About the role
- Prospect for new sports teams using a variety of channels, including inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and referrals
- Use data to build and iterate on an outbound sales strategy that generates high-quality leads
- Conduct pre-qualified calls to assess the needs of potential customers and build relationships
- Engage with new and existing leads through CRM tools like Salesforce to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Educate potential customers about the STATSports platform and its impact on athletic performance
- Collaborate with the commercial team to nurture and pass on qualified leads to close
- Foster a culture of high performance and accountability
- Identify and recommend improvements in processes, efficiency, and productivity
- Work with global peers to refine processes and evolve the SDR role
- Continuously expand your STATSports platform knowledge and expertise
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (preferably in business, marketing, sports management, or a related field)
- Minimum of one year experience as an SDR or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, you will have a proven ability to clearly articulate value propositions in both verbal and written formats
- Goal-oriented, a strong track record of working towards sales targets and KPIS
- Interest in sports, with a passion for the industry and a desire to understand the needs and challenges of sports teams and athletes
- Experience with CRM tools - such as Salesforce
