About the role
- Reporting directly to the Head of Pre Sales, be responsible for online and onsite demonstrations delegated to you.
- Manage your schedule of online/onsite demonstrations week to week and complete all necessary reports for the Head of Pre Sales.
- Work with Business Development team in controlling the pipeline, the budget, timings, duration, reports, communication etc for your prospective clients.
- Compile, share and file all necessary online/onsite demo reports for future reference or in order to furnish Business Development team with necessary information.
- Provide technical advice to sales team during all stages of the sales cycle.
- Build a network of contacts and regularly share and update new and relevant STATSports content with them quarterly.
- Work alongside the Head of Pre Sales to ensure that the Business Development team have access to all the most recent and up to date marketing content.
- Work closely with Head of Pre Sales to identify all relevant conferences and events are being attended, deliver conference presentations on occasion.
- Working alongside the Research and Development teams to provide client feedback and requests.
- Support your BD colleagues in identifying markets for sales activity and enhancing and developing strategies of how to penetrate sports and clubs within those markets.
- Manage the flow of demo kits and contracts with your prospective clients.
- Be proactive, creative, organised and demonstrate strong work ethic in order to complete daily tasks and drive sales growth.
- Be committed to continuous professional development, keeping up to date with the latest developments in the athlete monitoring industry including competitor systems.
- Build and maintain strong, long lasting client relationships.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions accordingly to customer needs and objectives.
- Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries and assist with challenging requests or issues escalations as needed.
- Recording interactions with clients daily to create a timeline of service provided.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and assist with the management of the renewal process.
Requirements
- Qualified with a degree in a Sports and Exercise Sciences degree or equivalent.
- Experience working with a GPS Performance Tracking system within an elite environment.
- Ability to travel 70% of the time.
- Confident communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organisations.
- Highly organised with ability to manage a large workload.
- Passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience and building lasting relationships.
- Coaching background/experience working in High Performance Sports.
- Fluency in another language.
- Sales experience with Sports Technology.
