About the role

  • Prospect for new sports teams using a variety of channels, including inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and referrals.
  • Build, schedule, and optimize outbound campaigns; analyze performance trends and continually refine outreach.
  • Use data to build and iterate on an outbound sales strategy that generates high-quality leads.
  • Conduct pre-qualification calls to understand customer needs, assess fit, and build early-stage relationships.
  • Engage with new and existing leads through CRM tools like Salesforce to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Educate potential customers about the STATSports platform and its impact on athletic performance.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to nurture and pass on qualified leads to close.
  • Foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Identify and recommend improvements in processes, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Work with global peers to refine processes and evolve the BDR role.
  • Continuously expand your STATSports platform knowledge and expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (preferably in business, marketing, sports management, or a related field).
  • Strong communication skills , you will have a proven ability to clearly articulate value propositions in both verbal and written formats.
  • Goal-oriented , a strong track record of working towards sales targets and KPIS.
  • Interest in sports , with a passion for the industry and a desire to understand the needs and challenges of sports teams and athletes.
  • Fluency in an additional language.
  • Experience with CRM tools, such as Salesforce (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with prospects and working effectively in a team.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and tasks efficiently.
  • Team player, willing to collaborate with the commercial and sales teams to drive overall success.
