About the role

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to prospects and customers adopting Statsig’s experimentation platform.
  • Demonstrate the value of the product to prospective customers and conduct technical discovery calls to understand needs and pain points.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, demos, proof of concepts, and proof of value evaluations.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies and provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on experimentation, feature management, and analytics product suites and conduct technical deep dives and troubleshooting.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product features; provide feedback to product team and contribute to documentation and training materials.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and provide technical support as required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Solutions Engineer / Sales Engineer, selling a technical product to enterprise customers.
  • Led technical proof of concept/proof of value evaluations.
  • Proficient in sales frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with SQL.
  • Eager to learn new products and help the company improve products continuously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to collaborate across various US timezones.
  • Strong understanding of experimentation methodologies. (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of feature management and processes. (Preferred)
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau). (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python. (Preferred)
  • Experience in javascript framework like react, next.js, etc. (Preferred)
  • Experience with cloud warehouse tooling (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Synapse, Firebolt). (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling. (Preferred)
  • Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes. (Preferred)
  • Location requirement: Currently only considering candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
  • On-site requirement: Able to be on-site five days a week in Bellevue, WA (non-negotiable).
