Business Development Manager – Public Sector
StatistaBusiness Development Manager for Statista developing B2B client relationships in the Public Sector. Focused on the India market with responsibilities in sales opportunities and client interactions.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acquiring new business and further developing our B2B client base in the Public/Government Sector for India market.
- Proactively develop sales opportunities from a variety of business product categories.
- Consistently achieve individual monthly sales targets.
- Draft, conceptualize and share new sales campaigns and ideas within our team.
- Establishing and maintaining a high sales call volume with Director, Vice President and C-Level executives.
- Work beside the Customer Success Managers by providing insights, hands-on training, and facilitating new best practices for sales.
- Meet prospective clients for presentations and actively seek speaking opportunities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of direct sales experience in the public/government sector preferably selling market intelligence products & services or other SaaS online solutions.
- Experience in outbound B2B sales and acquiring new business.
- BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
- Competitive, high-energy, and love of winning.
- Willing to undertake business trips.
- Proficiency in effective communication and presentation abilities.
