About the role

  • Responsible for direct management of the team of PMs
  • Ensure project deliverables are met on time and on budget for own project
  • Manage issues and escalations in reference to direct reports
  • Ensure that specialist knowledge is kept current and is shared among team members
  • Serve as relationship manager with internal clients
  • Manages projects in their complete life cycle from Initiation through Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling and Closing
  • Take complete responsibility for all areas of project focusing on Scope Management, Time Management and Cost Management
  • Promote and advocate State Street new and modified products and services to users
  • Track and respond to user feedback regarding changes and implementation process

Requirements

  • Higher education in technology, accounting, finance, business or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in people management and change management, preferably in financial services sector
  • Experience in managing the team (setting up goals, provide feedback, develop employees)
  • Excellent project management skills, extensive project management experience and training
  • Knowledge of Project Management Institute Standards or certification according to PMI will be a considerable advantage
  • Good PC skills, including office applications and project scheduling and flowcharting software
