About the role
- Responsible for management, administrative, planning and policy work involving the implementation of stormwater treatment and control practices through regulation and permitting
- Work in collaboration with division leadership and is directly responsible for leading and coordinating the overall work of the program
- Proactive and reactive resolution of issues - ranging from broad policy decisions and strategic planning to specific permit implementation considerations
- Perform under the general supervision of the Division Director, with considerable latitude for independent action.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in hydrogeology, chemistry, soil science, engineering, environmental studies, law, or public administration AND two (2) years or more at a professional level in an environmental management or regulatory program in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- OR Bachelor's degree in engineering, a physical or biological science or other field closely related to environmental conservation AND four (4) years or more at a professional level in an environmental management or regulatory program INCLUDING two (2) years or more in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
