About the role
- Central Intake & Emergency Services (CIES) part-time Assistant Director for 24/7 child protection hotline
- Manage daily operations of the call center and supervise Supervisors and Senior Family Services Workers
- Support supervisors with screening reports of child abuse & neglect and oversee after-hour emergency responses
- Assist Director in evaluating, monitoring, and strengthening practices supporting children, families, and staff
- Create and implement ongoing staff training and manage complex staff schedules for adequate coverage
- Act as liaison to district offices, mandated reporters, and community partners
- Schedule includes two to three Saturdays a month, one to two evenings a week, hybrid remote and office shifts, some holiday coverage required
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work or public administration AND two (2) years or more in a managerial, supervisory, or program administration role in a human services program OR Bachelor's degree AND three (3) years or more in a managerial, supervisory, or program administration role in a human services program
- Experience in Child Protective Services or in Juvenile Justice (preferred)
- Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position (criminal record, DMV, adult and child abuse registry checks)
