Central Intake & Emergency Services (CIES) part-time Assistant Director for 24/7 child protection hotline
Manage daily operations of the call center and supervise Supervisors and Senior Family Services Workers
Support supervisors with screening reports of child abuse & neglect and oversee after-hour emergency responses
Assist Director in evaluating, monitoring, and strengthening practices supporting children, families, and staff
Create and implement ongoing staff training and manage complex staff schedules for adequate coverage
Act as liaison to district offices, mandated reporters, and community partners
Schedule includes two to three Saturdays a month, one to two evenings a week, hybrid remote and office shifts, some holiday coverage required
Requirements
Master's degree in social work or public administration AND two (2) years or more in a managerial, supervisory, or program administration role in a human services program OR Bachelor's degree AND three (3) years or more in a managerial, supervisory, or program administration role in a human services program
Experience in Child Protective Services or in Juvenile Justice (preferred)
Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position (criminal record, DMV, adult and child abuse registry checks)
